Aidan had his first swim class this past week. It consisted mostly of Aidan chewing on his hands as I held him in the pool. He did go underwater and Mom learned a few things. When we pulled up to our first class, a SUV lost control as it swerved to miss another car and drove up onto the sidewalk and crashed into a tree on the front lawn. Pretty scary! Of course, the whole thing happened right in front of me. Thankfully, no one was hurt. But a few mom's looked very nervous as they stroller by with their new babies in tow ... including yours truly.
Grandma Mary came to visit this week and escape the 116 degree heat of the Central Valley. So Aidan had a full time playmate for a few days. They can sit and babble to each other for hours .. giggling and sticking out their tongues.
A First ...
Mike succeeded in having Aidan hold his own bottle last Thursday! Some friends got a picture of it, so I will post it when it comes my way. Aidan can now turn onto his side, as well. He can't make it all the way over, but he is working on it.
