This week was Fiesta in Santa Barbara, which meant that all the locals left town. We actually hung around and went to the Mission to watch dancing on Wednesday and saw the parade on Friday. Mike and I even went out to the rodeo Saturday night. It was really nice to have a night out. Mike drank margaritas and I ate, my favorite, fresh made kettle corn.
We have been very worried about the fire burning just over the ridge. Every morning out cars are covered in ash. They have closed down the 154 now and there are homes that are in danger, so let's hope the weather and conditions improve.
