I had my weekly check up yesterday. Everything looks fine, but I am only 30% effaced. I was 20% the week before, so I was really hoping I was further along. I am not dilated at all, but that is not uncommon for 1st babies. Of course, they say that none of it matters -- you can still go into labor anytime, but I get the feeling this guy wants to hang out until May.
My next appointment is April 27, at which time I will be three days past my due date. If he hasn't come by then, they will do a stress test just to make sure he is fine. All of this is very common.
I can't wait to see him! (Kind of glad he won't be born on 4-20).
