1 YEAR - Birthday boy

Today is Aidan's first birthday. We made it! What a wonderful and tired year it has been. We can't imagine things the way they were before we had our son. Aidan has made us into a family and every day he continues to amaze and entertain us.
Last Saturday we celebrated Aidan's birthday with some family and friends. Aidan is just starting to play with other kids, so it is always fun to watch them interact. They usually end up fighting over a toy or book. Luckily there were PLENTY of toys to go around.

Here is the big guy eating his cake. He didn't cry when we sang Happy Birthday. I believe he is going to love the crowds and be a big ham, just like his Dad. Aidan ate the frosting off his cake, dug a hole in the side and them wanted out of the highchair so he could go visit with all the great people. Brian and Mike came down from Sacramento. Joan, Camron and Grandma Soares came from Los Banos. Grandma and Brad came from Los Banos. Grandpa and Maggee (Sue) came from Calistoga. And all the other SB Cohen Clan came with gifts in tow. We had a great time and can't wait until his next birthday when we plan to rent a "Bounce House", have a petting zoo and make animal balloons.

On another note, I am feeling pretty good about keeping the blog up to date for the last year. I know I have been a little slower with updates in recent weeks, but all in all it is pretty current. Hopefully we will continue putting up photos and giving everyone a little insight into life at the Cohen house. Lots of love to everyone.
