We have been really busy around the Cohen house. Mike and Aidan have found the botanical gardens, which has provided many wonderful afternoons of waterfall hunting. Aidan loves waterfalls and playing with water. Here are some photos from the last two trips to the gardens. Aidan likes to hang out with his friend Zachary too.
This past Saturday we spent the day at El Capitan beach. Blake spent most of the day sleeping and hanging out in the shade with a few other babies. Aidan ran around the beach naked laughing. He loved making sand castles and jumping in the waves. Yes, that is a picture of me on the beach and I am breastfeeding. See how easy this has all become!
Then on Sunday we went to Lane Farms to see the pumpkin patch. It was great! They had farm animals, giant pumpkins and a tractor. We met our friends there and the three little boys had a blast. Blake slept through the day, but he had fun too.
On a final note ... Aidan had a visit from the "Mimi Fairy" last Friday. The Mimi Fairy takes pacifiers from children and gives them to babies who need them, but he leaves presents in exchange and only comes when you are ready to give up the mimi (pacifier). Aidan turned over the mimi Friday night and the Mimi Fairy rung the doorbell and gave me presents for Aidan. The fairy will come back in a week to give Aidan another present (let's hope we make it all week). This is a HUGE feat for Aidan and much needed. Cross your fingers that it sticks!
